The coaxial connector has an electrical contact connection between its bayonet sleeve (6) and its outer conductor (1) and/or the outer conductor of the coupling. The contact connection is formed by flexible spring fingers (2). The spring fingers are an axial extension of the connector's outer conductor and rest on the inside surface (3) of the bayonet sleeve. The fingers are either one piece with the outer conductor or separate. The locking projections (7) on the inside of the bayonet sleeve are coated with a contacting metal such as silver. The advantage lies in having a tight RF seal.
