PURPOSE:To increase the cooling effect of the saw by a method wherein a saw- edge-shaped edge fitting part is arranged by notching the upper part of a band- shaped metal plate and the upper end parts are divided into several groups to which a sintered edge is brazed respectively. CONSTITUTION:The saw-edge-shaped edge fitting part 2 is arranged in the upper end part of the band-shaped metal plate 1 by notching. The fitting part 2 is divided into several group 3 of end parts thereof and the sintered edge 4 is brazed to the end parts by each group 3. At to the sintered edge 4, the edge for which diamond is employed as a grinding material is fitted for a hard substance such as tile, glass and ceramic ware, while the edge for which boron nitride is employed as the grinding material is suited for cutting metal. Since a cut groove 5 between the fitting parts 2 is exposed as it is, very high cooling effect is obtained. |
