PURPOSE:To obtain the dial gage which has a simple structure and is easy to assemble by a constitution wherein the displacement of a spindle in the direction of the radius is converted into the displacement of a rotating member in the direction of the circumference and this displacement is enlarged and transmitted to an indicator. CONSTITUTION:When the contact point of a measurer 14 with a substance to be measured is displaced and thereby the measurer 14 is pushed up, for inst- ance, a cam 11 is displaced counterclockwise through the intermediary of the spindle 12 and the rotating member 9 is also displaced in the same direction. The rotation of the large-teeth part 3B of a sector gear 3 is transmitted to a small gear 5. The tip part of the indicator 4 fitted axially to the small gear 5 indicates a prescribed position on a dial plate. The small gear 5 is engaged with a backlash-preventing mechanism 6. By this constitution, the dial gage having a simple structure and being easy to assemble is obtained. |
