A filter aid comprising particulate material is modified with a polyamido- polyamine epichlorhydrin cationic resin so as to render the anionic surface electro-positive. The material may be diatomaceous earth, perlite or defibred cellulose. The coated filter aid is employed as a cake or incorporated into a filter paper to filter biological material from water. |
