摘要

A pressure-sensitive recording paper comprising a combination of a color-developing paper coated with an active clay that has been acid-processed to completely remove Al ion and adjust its aromatic adsorbance index to 40 or above and then incorporated with Mg ion and a color-forming paper coated with microcapsules containing crystal violet lactone as a major component of the color former. This recording paper has the merits that it undergoes no deterioration of the color-developing ability with time, and that a colored product has excellent light resistance.
