PURPOSE:To produce a great turning force, by moving balance tanks toward a balance weight the center of gravity of which is projected to the outside of the balance tank, at an upper and a lower turning points of an endless chain. CONSTITUTION:Since a float 9 in each balance tank 14 is moved upward by buoyancy, an upper hollow shaft 11 is projected to the outside of a tank 8, so that a first weight 12 is located upward while a second weight 12' comes into contact with the lower surface of the tank 8. At the upper turning point of an endless chain 6, the balance tank 14 is turned upside down. Resultantly, the second weight 12' is projected upward while the first weight 12 comes into contact with the lower surface of the tank 8, and the tank 8 begins to move downward. Further, at the lower turning point of the endless chain 6, the tank 8 is again turned upside down. Thus, it is enabled to obtain a great turning force. |
