METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SPRAYING POWDER In the spraying of dry powder from a fluidized bed powder reservoir through a pump having a chamber which is opened to the fluidized bed atmosphere to admit fluidized powders and air is blown through said pump to blow said fluidized powders through a barrel assembly, a more concentrated quantity of powder can be sprayed at high velocity for a greater distance if the chamber is effectively sealed to the reservoir atmosphere before air is blown therethrough.
