PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body which decreases dark attenuation and with which developing contrast hardly decreases by incorporating a specific diphenyl methane compd. as a constituting component into an alcohol soluble resin to form an intermediate layer. CONSTITUTION:The intermediate layer contains the diphenyl methane compd. expressed by the formula as the constituting element in the alcohol soluble resin. In the formula, R1, R1'-R1''' denote a hydrogen atom or alkyl group, R2, R2' denote a hydrogen atom or alkyl group. The carrier injection from a substrate is effectively prevented by such diphenyl methane compd. The dark attenuation and the decrease of the development contrast are thereby decreased and the image having a uniform density and excellent reproducibility of fine lines without having rough feeling is obtd. The always stable image is obtd. with the decreased potential fluctuation by environment. |
