The arrangement measures the flow of a, at least slightly conducting, medium in a pipe (2) using the induction principle contains an electrode (8, 10) mounted near a conducting pipe wall and normally in contact with the medium. The electrode is connected to a circuit (16) which monitors the capacitance between the measurement liquid and electrode and which contains an oscillator (24) contg. the capacitance in its frequency determining circuit. The signal evaluation circuits contains a control stage (34) for the oscillator frequency.
