A stack (1) of disposable aprons is doubled over about a transverse line half-way up and has tear lines (4) across top and bottom, in front of the fold so that each apron can be easily removed. Each apron has a narrow strip (5) one end, and a wider strip (5') the other end, which remain after the aprons are removed, each set of strips having two suspension holes (6) through it. After folding, a reinforcing strip (13) is fitted between the two sets of end strip, also with suspension holes through it. The neck strap (16) and tie straps (17) of each apron are at the end of the wider edge strip, which is stamped accordingly.
