<p>PURPOSE:To provide a golf club head which can enhance the leap. CONSTITUTION:A hammer body 5 for striking the rear side of a face 3 at the moment of hitting a ball 9 with a head is rotatably supported in a hollow head body 2 with the use of a spring member 6 which presses the hammer body 5 against the rear side of the face 3. Accordingly, an impact force caused by striking of the hammer body upon the rear sick of the face 3 may be applied to a ball in addition to a repulsion force due to elastic deformation of the face surface of the head body at the moment of hitting the ball.</p> |
