PURPOSE:To automatically calculate the copying necessary time and to display it as scheduled copying hour or time by providing an input means for selecting a color mode such as a full color mode and a black-and-white mode and a control means for displaying the scheduled copying finish hour or time in accordance with selection by the input means. CONSTITUTION:The size signal of an original detected by a scanner device 105 is inputted in a controller 206. The image processor 112 has a function for detecting the kind of the original, that is, whether it is a full color original or a black-and-white original or what single color original it is based on a color read signal 204 outputted from the scanner device 105, and transmits the detected result to the controller 206. A printer 113 has a function for detecting the size of the paper contained in a paper feeding tray, and transmits the detected result or the like to the controller 206. When the power source of a color copying machine is turned on, the controller 206 performs operation display processing, so that processing time is displayed in accordance with the selection and the setting of a time display selection part. |
