PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a need for depressing a button on the part of a user, and let the user automatically arrive at his intended floor. SOLUTION: The operation device is equipped with each landing hall side people sensor 11 and 11a which is provided for landing halls at a first and a second floor respectively, and senses that there exist people at the landing hall, a weight detecting sensor 12 sensing that there exist people in a cage 8, and with a driving means 20 which moves the cage 8 to one landing hall where people are waiting based on a signal from the landing hall side people sensor 11 or 11a, and also moves the cage 8 to the other landing hall when people get on the cage 8 based on the weight detecting sensor 12. |
