<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly position modality images photographed at different time by finding the combination having the highest degree of similarity in the relative position arrangement of high-order coordinate points at a degree suitable for position, and making feature points correspondent to the candidate groups of coordinate points. SOLUTION: At the time of first examination, plural candidate groups composed of the personal ID of a person to be examined, the coordinate point in a medical image suitable for positioning for each medical modality image and the rank of degrees suitable for positioning are investigated and previously stored and a medical information data base 1 is constructed. Then, when the eyeground check of the same person to be examined is performed after the lapse of time, first of all, the candidate points of positioning just after the image processing result are extracted between an image 2 at the time of first examination and an image 3 photographed later. Afterwards, the coordinates and attributes of the respective candidate points are calculated, the candidate point of positioning in the image at the time of first examination is made correspondent to the candidate point of positioning in the image photographed later, the mapping relation of coordinate transformation is calculated and found, the combination is decided, and reference points are overlapped.</p> |
