PURPOSE:To provide a fixture for optical fibers which does not impair optical fiber characteristics, is capable of easily and rapidly fixing the optical fibers, is efficient and is widely usable from a small number to large number of pieces. CONSTITUTION:This fixture for optical fibers has an elastic rubber tube 1 which is fixed at one end to a mouthpiece 3 and into which the optical fiber is inserted from the other end and a cylinder 2 which is inserted into this tube 1 at a diameter larger than the final shrinkage diameter of the tube 1 and is spirally cut with a tearable pullable groove 4. A cord 5 for pulling is joined to the spiral groove 4 on the front end side. |
