PURPOSE:To tape a tab in such a manner as to prevent the deformation of a lead even in the case of the tab with the formed lead. CONSTITUTION:A carrier tape 14 is provided at its recess part 12 with a clearance recess 13 for avoiding the contact of a tab 11 with a formed lead 20. The tab 11 is provided with a projecting part 21 for protecting the side part of the lead 20 when the lead 20 is placed in the clearance recess 13. This tab 11 is set in the recess part 12 and, in this condition, a top tape 15 is thermocompressively bonded to the carrier tape 14 and then the tab 11 is taped. |
