MEAL RESERVATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR DORMITORY

PURPOSE:To accurately grasp the reservation state of meals and the daily number of meals by making meal reservations of boarders paperless and enabling a meal to freely be reserved and canceled. CONSTITUTION:A boarder number is inputted by operating numeric keys displayed on the display device 104 of a meal reservation terminal 10 from above a touch sensor panel 105, a cursor key which is displayed on the display device 104 when the boarder number is correct is operated from above the touch sensor 105 and moved to a desired reservation day in a calendar for meal reservation displayed on the display device 104, and a reservation/cancellation key on the display device 104 is operated to reserve and cancel breakfasts and dinners by desired days on an interactive basis. Meal reservation information on each boarder is transmitted to a host computer 20 through an optical communication line and processed by the host computer 20 to display the meal reservation state of the respective boarders and the daily number of meals on the display device 204 or print them out on a printer 210.
