METHOD OF PRODUCING COMPOSITE MOULDINGS

Described is a method of producing permanently stable composite mouldings, in particular insulating materials and lightweight structural components and panels, consisting of the hydration products of a binder and lightweight aggregates or reinforcement materials. The methods is characterized in that, as the binder, a mixture is used which consists of the following components (in % by wt. relative to the binder mixture): 10 to 30 % of calcium aluminate sulphate (C4A35), 5 to 20 % of anhydrite, 50 to 80 % of portland cement.
