PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically operate a parallel-connected harmonic compensating circuit in a highly reliable state without relying upon the control from a data processor which is connected as a load. SOLUTION: A parallel-connected harmonic compensating circuit (P-PFC) 2 is provided with a harmonic compensating circuit (PFC) 5 and an automatic operation circuit 6. The PFC 5 converts an input current IA which must have the waveform of a sine wave to the sine wave by inputting and outputting the difference IC between an output current IB having a rectangular waveform and the input current IA. The circuit 6 controls the PFC 5 or P-PFC 2 based on the state of the P-PFC 2 itself without relying upon the control from a data processor which is connected as a load 3. Therefore, the circuit 6 is provided with a turning-on/off control circuit 7 which controls the turning on/off of the PFC 5 from the state of the P-PFC 2 and a reliability control circuit 8 which controls the P-PFC 2 from the state of the P-PFC 2. |
