PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the miniaturization and cost reduction of optical detecting means by simplifying the radiating part thereof. SOLUTION: This device has a detecting unit 30 that comprises a radiating part 31 that is provided with a light source 32 of spot state and radiate diffusing light from the light source 32 to a chip component 20, and a photo-receiving part 35 that faces radiating part 31 with the chip component 20 between them, detects the projection of the chip component 20 that is vacuum held by a nozzle member 21 provided to the head unit of a mounting device by radiating the light. An arithmetic processing unit that checks the vacuum holding state of the component based on the projection detecting data from the photo-receiving part 35 and the predetermined form of data that indicates the relations of the radiating part 31, the photo-receiving part 35 and the nozzle member 21. |
