摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and simply heat a sample member having a small shape of a solid of every kind by irradiation using an infrared lamp and to measure the elasticity parameter and internal friction sample member over a wide temp. range from the normal temp. to high temp. by the application of ultrasonic technique. SOLUTION: A sample placing stand 2 is arranged in the protective pipe 1 constituting an atmosphere furnace 9 and infrared lamps 5 are arranged in the recessed curved surface parts 7 of the condensing mirrors 6 provided in the outer periphery of the protective pipe 1. Since the recessed curved surface parts 7 have a shape based on the surface of an oval body, the reflected rays of the infrared lamps 5 irradiate the surface part of the sample member 3 in a pinpoint state to locally heat the sample member 3 to enable heating within a high temp. region. The sample placing stand 2 can be also constituted as an ultrasonic waveguide and the propagation time and attenuation ratio of ultrasonic pulses are subjected to operational processing to measure an elasticity parameter and internal friction.
