The apparatus to test the dyeing of a textile fabric sample has a frame (18) with a clamp system (19) to spread out the fabric sample (20) which has been freshly dyed and mechanically mangled. A lock (14) into the processing chamber (11), dimensioned to take the frame (18), is at the production assembly (7) which applies a continuous drying and/or fixing of the textile piece goods (1). The lock (14) allows the frame (18) with the test sample (20) to be inserted into the working assembly (7) and withdrawn from it, in and out of the processing chamber (11).
