The arrangement includes a filter casing (17) connected at a ventilation nozzle (13) of a fuel tank (10), which comprises an absorption filter (18) for the deposition of fuel vapours. An air inlet and outlet (19, 21) are provided for an adjustable airstream for a filter regeneration of the absorption filter. The adjustable airstream is supplied over the air outlet (21) to an induction manifold (11) of the combustion engine. An air pump (23) with reversible flow direction is connected to the air outlet of the filter casing. The flow direction of the air pump is controlled over the duration of the filter regeneration, in such way that the air outlet of the filter casing lies on the suction side of the air pump.
