摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover waste heat using an air preheater while restricting increase in the generation of NOx associated with the preheating of air by a structure of cooling a flame once. SOLUTION: A cold object 14 is arranged in a combustion chamber 11 to let a flame with a burner 12 pass in contact with the cold object, an adiabatic space 15 on the downstream side of the cold object 14 and a rear heat exchange part 16 on the downstream side of the adiabatic space 15. Flame and a combustion gas by the burner 12 are made to pass in contact with the cold object 14. The, the combustion gas passes through the adiabatic space 15 and the rear heat exchange part 16 and flows through an air preheater 13 from an exhaust pipe 18 outside the combustion chamber 11 to be released. Air for combustion to the burner 12 is made to pass through the air preheater 13 and undergoes a heat exchange with the combustion gas to preheat the air for combustion.
