PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a canceller to be converged at a high processing speed. SOLUTION: A 1st user sends a data series DI. A multiplex circuit MPX1 selects its input from a signal to a training signal generator TR1 based on a timing signal received from a timing terminal. The training signal generator TRI provides an output of symbols of an orthogonal signal series N' for the 1st user. The output symbol series of the multiplex MPX1 is spread by a spread code by a spread circuit SP1 similarly to the case with a conventional spread spectrum system. The circuits for other users are operated similarly to above.
