A steam turbine installation (1) including a steam turbine (2) with the upper part (6) of its housing (4) tightly, but releasably, joined to a condenser (14), the latter being displaceably mounted on a base-plate (12). A multiple ball-bearing is provided for mounting the condenser (14), the latter more specifically comprising a number of condenser elements (16,18) of which, in each case, two are arranged opposite one another on the upper part (6) of the housing.
