SOLUTION: A plurality of optical fibers 1 are pressed to V-grooves 2c by water 5b through a thin film 5a. A pressing bag 5 is deformed by the thin film 5a and water 5b inside it so as to fit the irregular shapes of respective V-grooves 2c and the optical fibers 1. At this time, pressure of water 5b inside the thin film 5a uniformly acts on a plurality of optical fibers 1 by the principle of Pascal and uniformly clamps all of them. In a plurality of pressed optical fibers 1, when the specified optical fiber 1 is moved in the X and Y directions by the jogging operation of facing movable blocks 2b, the thin film 5a is deformed together with water 5b inside it, moreover, the optical fibers 1 positioned in the adjacent movable blocks 2b are not affected by the deformation.
