PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the storage stability of a recorded image by adding bring metal salt and polycyclic nuclear substitute salicylic polyvalent metal salt in a developer of a pressure-sensitive recording material utilizing the coloring reaction of a dye with the developer represented by specified formulas I and II. SOLUTION: Catalysts as a pressure-sensitive recording material, which is inferior heretofore, of a developer is improved perfectly when polycyclic nuclear substitute salicylic polyvalent metal salt is mixed with polyvalent metal salt such as 3-methyl-5 secondary decylsalicylic acid represented by formulas I and II (In the formulas, one of R1 and R2 represents methyl, (n) represents an integer of 1 to 5, and at least two kinds or more of values are provided and the total number of carbon is 12.
