PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the high preservation property, in particular the oil- resistance and the.heat-resistance of an image part by a method wherein this recording material has a heat-sensitive color-developing layer of which the major components are a leuco dye and a color-developer, and as the color- developer, a specified compound is used. SOLUTION: This heat-sensitive recording material has a heat-sensitive color- developing layer of which the major components are a leuco dye and a color- developer to make the leuco dye develop a color at the time of heating, and as the color-developer, a compound which is represented by a formula I is used. In the formula I, R indicates an aklyl group, an aralkyl group or an allyl group, X indicates an alkylene group of which the number of carbon atoms is 2-6, or either one of the groups represented by a formula II. For the leuco dye, a leuco dye which is known as a leuco-based recording material is used solely or by mixing two kinds or more. By this method, the preservation property, especially the oil-resistance and the heat-resistance of an image part become excellent. |
