PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rigidly bond transparent resin substrates with good operationability by bonding two sheets of transparent resin substrates with a thermosetting bonding agent which is mainly composed of copolymer of ethylene and acrylate monomer and maleate. SOLUTION: A thermosetting bonding agent which is mainly composed of copolymer material of ethylene and acrylate and/or methacrylate monomer and maleate and/or maleic anhydride is used for bonding of two sheets of transparent resin substrates, for example, digital video disc substrates 1, 2 having formed reflecting layers 1a, 2a on the signal bit surface. This bonding agent is particularly effective for bonding of the substrates of single-side reading system because the substrates may be bonded in higher accuracy by surely controlling thickness. It is preferable for the thermosetting bonding agent that organic peroxide of 0.1 to 10 pts.wt. and silane coupling agent of 0.01 to 5 pts.wt. are added based on 100 pts.wt. of the copolymer. |
