The invention relates to a compound of formula (I), wherein R is an alkyl unsubstituted or substituted by one or more polar substituents or an alkenyl unsubstituted or substituted by one or more polar substituents, and X is aryl, or salts thereof. The compounds are effective e.g. against protozoa and trematodes.
