<p>The invention concerns irbesartan form A having a modified crystalline habit such that length/width ratio ranges between 1:1 and 10:1, preferably between 1:1 and 5:1 and a method for preparing said crystalline habit. The method is characterised in that it consists in either subjecting a crystalline suspension of irbesartan form A having acicular habit to at least a temperature oscillating step, or in subjecting a crystalline suspension of irbesartan form A having acicular habit to a mechanical shearing. The invention also concerns a pharmaceutical composition containing said irbesartan crystalline habit.</p> |
