<p>The invention concerns a method for making an antenna element (antennae, microwave circuits, shielding, etc.), characterised in that it comprises a step which consists in directly contacting at least part of a synthetic foam block having a pH less than 7 such as PVC with at least a metal coating bath and/or a graphite bath during a sufficient time interval for completely coating said foam block surface part with a metal and/or graphite layer.
