A means for detecting fluid level is comprised of an inner tube (30), coils (35) winding outside of the inner tube, an outer tube (40), a ball float (45), a bottom base (50) and an upper fixed base (55); the ball float is inside the inner tube around which the coils are winding and the inner tube is covered with the outer tube. The upper end of the inner tube is engaged with the upper fixed base by screw thread and the lower end of the inner tube is engaged with the bottom base, the both ends of the outer tube are sealed by gluing to protect the coils winding outer of the inner tube; the position of ball float is changed with the varying of the height of the fluid level when the means detects the fluid level, and inductance is gererated in the coils, then convert the inductance into voltage value through the circuit and display the fluid height by the display apparatus; there is no contact point during the measuring processes of the means according to the invention, therefore, there is no friction. Furthermore, there are other advantages such as simple configuration, lower cost of the material and easy manufacture, and so on. |
