CONTAINER MOLDABLE IMPROVED POLYESTER SHEET AND HEAT- RESISTANT POLYESTER MOLDED ARTICLE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved polyester sheet having container moldability and a heat-resistant molded article and container molded article obtained by thermally molding the sheet and heat-setting the same. SOLUTION: A polyester sheet consists of 89-below 98.5 wt.% of a polyethylene terephthalate resin with an intrinsic viscosity of 0.75 dl/g or more, 1-8 wt.% of a polyolefin resin, 0.5-below 3 wt.% of a polyester elastomer and below 1 wt.% of a modified polyolefin resin. In this case, the polyester sheet with a heat shrinkage factor of 2-8% is used and thermally molded so that a degree of crystallization becomes 10-40% to obtain a heat-resistant heat-set polyester molded article.
