PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing an easily polymerizable compound such as (meth)acrylic acid or (meth)acrylic ester(s) from polymerization tending to occur in its distillation unit during its distillation. SOLUTION: This method for preventing an easily polymerizable compound from polymerization during distilling it using a distillation unit comprises feeding, by an atomizing charge means, a liquid substantially identical in composition with the liquid existing about the constitutive members to them arranged in the interior of the distillation unit; wherein the above liquid is set pref. at a temperature below that of the liquid existing about the constitutive members.
