The invention relates to a device for handling the bales in a machine (10) for making bales (11', 11'') of grassy material or the like, to be used preferably in animal farming. The machine (10) comprises a baling unit (12) which makes the bales (11', 11'') of grassy material and which has an end (14) through which the bales (11', 11'') are fed out sequentially, and an unloading chute (16) located at the bale (11', 11'') outfeed end (14) of the baling unit (12) and extending backwards from the machine (10). The device comprises means (18) for stacking the bales, designed to pick up and raise a bale (11') fed out from the baling unit and to place that bale (11') on the following bale (11'') fed out from the baling unit. |
