PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a joining force between rings, and to alleviate the load of strength applied on a segment joint. SOLUTION: Joining of the rings in a tunnel longitudinal direction is carried out by fitting a shaft portion 10b of a pin nut 10 of one segment into a fitting hole 1b of the other segment, abutting main girders 1 and 1 on each other along a curved direction of both the segments, and inserting a ring joint bolts 12 into a small hole 13a of a reinforcing plate 13 and then screwing into a screw hole 10a of the pin nut 10b. The shaft portion 10b of the pin nut 10 fitted into the fitting hole 1b prevents relative lateral slippage of the main girders 1 and 1 in the curved direction in cooperation with the ring joint bolt 12, and the reinforcing plate 13 functions to reinforce a joint portion, while enables to generate a strong joining force. As a result, the load of strength of the segment joint joining both the segments in the curved direction is alleviated.
