PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dwelling house with an entresol provided with an elevator to which even an aged or physically handicapped person can get smooth access in multiple directions, by disposing a multi-purpose living hall on the entresol and connecting the elevator to the hall. SOLUTION: A space on the side of an entrance 9 is raised to form the entresol 2, the living hall 11 with a high ceiling is disposed on the entresol 2, a double-floor part 1 is disposed on the rear of the entresol 2, staircases 12 and 13 to the first floor 4 and the second floor 5 are disposed to be connected to the living hall 11, the first floor 4 and the second floor 5 are connected to each other through the living hall 11, and the elevator 6 is disposed to connect the first floor 4 to the entresol 2 and the second floor 5.
