PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electroviscous fluid capable of producing a high shear force resistance when a voltage is applied, having excellent heat resistance, capable of maintaining the heat resistance for a long period of time, comprising a dispersoid producible by a relatively ready process. SOLUTION: This electroviscous fluid is obtained by dispersing fine particles into an electrical insulating dispersion medium. The fine particles are obtained by applying a mechanical energy to inorganic hydroxide powder. |
