PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a GPS receiver capable of reliably judging whether received GPS signals are direct waves or reflected waves via multiple paths and to provide this judging method. SOLUTION: This GPS receiver is provided with a reception control means allowing a plurality of receiving channels to receive GPS signals from the same GPS satellite and a judging means judging whether each GPS signal is direct waves or reflected waves via multiple paths based on at least one index of the pseudo distances obtained from the GPS signals received by a plurality of channels from the same GPS satellite and the reception levels of the GPS signals. The judging means judges the GPS signal having the least value of the obtained pseudo distances among the GPS signals received by the reception channels from the same satellite as direct waves and judges the other GPS signals as reflected waves via multiple paths. |
