PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of removing materials from liquid with high separation efficiency with a liquid separator for removing materials floating on the liquid. SOLUTION: A leading-out guide plate 114 of a V shape in cross section is fixed to the top edge on a side wall facing an overflow port 110a of a first separation vessel 110. The top surface of the leading-out guide plate 114 is formed as a guide surface including a slope part 114a arranged nearer the inner side with respect to the overflow port 110a and an outer slope part 114b arranged nearer the outer side with respect to the overflow port 110a. An inner slope part 114a is so inclined as to head gradually upward when viewed in a direction toward the overflow port 110a from the inside of the first separation vessel 110 and the outer slope part 114b is so inclined reverse as to head gradually downward when viewed from the same direction.
