SUBSTANCE: in proposed vertical bucket elevator including tension sheave arranged in shoe with inclined charging branch pipe and endless closed traction member with fitted on buckets reeved in tension sheave, bottom of charging branch pipe is made stepped with cavity formed in upper part. Turnable axle with fitted-on tray is arranged in cavity. At least one horizontally directed deflector of angle shape in cross section is secured on vertical wall of shoe adjoining bottom of charging branch pipe. Deflector overlaps shoe in width. Axle of tray can be arranged in axle box and secured in guides of branch pipe by inserted members. EFFECT: improved reliability of elevator by preventing spillage of load in shoe. 2 cl, 2 dwg
