摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tableware usable in cooking inside a microwave oven even if a metal decoration is applied to the tableware. SOLUTION: In this tableware 10, a tableware body 11 is made of a material prepared by adding water or the like to earth or stone powder and kneading it. The tableware 10 is formed by covering the whole surface including portions of the metal decorations 12 with an electroconductive glass layer 13 of 0.1-10μm thickness containing electroconductive zinc oxide as a component after painting the metal decorations 12 or the like on the surface of the tableware body 11 and sintering the tableware body 11. Because the whole surface of the tableware 10 has electroconductivity, no spark or burnout is caused in the portions of the metal decorations 12 even if the tableware 10 is used in the cooking inside the microwave oven.
