PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoconductor in which unevenness density of image caused by harmful ozone and nitrogen oxides is hard to occur and also decrease in film thickness is hard to occur and the electrophotographic characteristic and the durability can be compatible with each other and an image forming apparatus mounting the electrophotographic photoconductor. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus mounts the electrophotographic photoconductor. The electrophotographic photoconductor is used for full color image forming using a tandem system. The photoconductor comprises a charge generating layer and a charge transporting layer which are laminated. The charge transporting layer has a ratio of a charge transporting material to a binder of 10/14-10/20, a mobility of 1×10-6 cm2/V.sec or more at electric field strength of 20 V/μm and is used for an electrophotographic process using a process speed of 100 mm/sec or higher.
