摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit and prevent erroneous detection of a gear position in an automatic transmission even when a driving wheel velocity is varied during the gear change shifting operation and accurately control the driving force by properly setting the target engine torque. SOLUTION: A gear ratio estimate GRFUNK is determined by dividing an engine speed NE by an average driving wheel velocity VWF, an estimated gear position GREST is calculated on the basis of the value, a present gear position CURGP recognized in an AT control unit and a next target gear position NEXTGP are read, and a smaller one of the target gear position NEXTGP and the estimated gear position GREST is detected during up-shift, and a larger one of them is detected during down-shift, as a gear position GRPOS for controlling TCS. Further the present gear position CURGP is used as a limiter, as there is no possibility for the gear position GRPOS for controlling TCS, to be lower than the present gear position CURGP during the up-shift, and to be higher during the down shift.
