PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image processing unit that can obtain an excellent radiation image with an image component caused by a grid eliminated therefrom from a radiation image obtained by radiography employing the grid. SOLUTION: A generating means 117 generates the image component caused by the grid from a radiation image obtained by the radiography employing the grid to eliminate scattered radiation of radiation emitted on an object. An elimination means 119 applies elimination processing of the image component to a plurality of radiation images obtained later than the radiation image above on the basis of the image component obtained by the generating means 117.
