PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new triazine compound and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound. SOLUTION: This new triazine compound is represented by the formula (I), its isomer, a prodrug of the compound or its isomer or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the compound, isomer or prodrug [e.g. 4-(4- hydroxymethyl-[1,3,5]triazin-2-yl)-piperazine-1-sulfonic acid dimethylamide]. The compound has a sorbitol dehydrogenase inhibitory activity and is useful for inhibiting a sorbitol dehydrogenase(SDH), lowering fructose levels or treating diabetes or diabetic complications. |
