<p>By chamfering the edge of a conical washer-like resing ring, it is intended to improve easiness in handling said ring and to prevent incorrect operation caused when molded integrally whit rubber-like elastic seal lip. A sealing device is provided with: a radially extending annular resin flange part 9 arranged to surround a rotating axis; a resin seal lip 3 extending from a position on the end of the inner diameter of said resin flange to the side of hermetically sealed fluid along the direction of the axis of a rotating axis to surround said axis; a radially extending rubber-like elastic flange part 13 disposed to surround the rotating axis; and a rubber-like elastic seal slip extending beyond said resin seal lip along the axial direction of the rotating axis from the inner diametral end of said rubber-like elastic flange 13 toward the hermetically sealed fluid to surround said resin seal lip. The shape of chamfered part is composed of a first chamfering part 45 roughly perpendicular to the central axis of the resin ring 40 and second one 46 roughly perpendicular to the conical surface.</p> |
