PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a pressure sensor to be removed from an assembly of vibrators in a device for evaluating bones using ultrasonic waves and to properly control the pressure of the assembly of vibrators on a living body. SOLUTION: A living body 10 is inserted between an assembly 12 of transmitting vibrators and an assembly 14 of receiving vibrators. The insides of coupling parts 18, 30 are communicated together by a communicating tube 40. Pressures of coupling fluids 22, 34 are detected by a pressure sensor 54 via a sensor tube 52. A conveying mechanism 42 is controlled so that values detected by the pressure sensor 54 become appropriate. The assembly 14 of vibrators can be separated from the pressure sensor 54 by a joint part 56. The coupling fluids are supplemented by means of a syringe 64 if insufficient. |
